2026 Jeep Gladiator Trims in South Jersey
Every Gladiator shares one engine and one transmission, so the whole decision comes down to hardware, comfort, and price. Here is the full 2026 ladder from Sport to Mojave X, what each trim adds, and which one fits how you drive around South Jersey.

One engine, many builds
The Shared Foundation
Every 2026 Gladiator runs the same 3.6L Pentastar V6 (285 horsepower, 260 lb-ft) through an eight-speed automatic, with four-wheel drive standard on the whole lineup. The manual is gone for 2026, and there is no diesel. That means the price gap between trims buys off-road hardware, interior, and technology, not more engine. The lineup splits into three platforms: Sport-based trims for value and everyday use, Rubicon for low-speed rock crawling, and Mojave for high-speed desert running, with loaded "X" versions of each and a handful of heritage and special editions on top.
EPA fuel economy lands around 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway (about 19 combined) across the range. Shoppers from Robbinsville to Turnersville tend to sort themselves into a handful of trims quickly once they see what each one actually adds.

What Each Trim Adds
Sport & Sport S
The Sport is the value entry point, with 17-inch wheels, part-time four-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case, a Class II hitch, a removable soft top, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. Base Sport is rated to tow up to 4,500 pounds. The Sport S, the lineup's most popular starting point, adds driver-assist safety like forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking, and it is the least-expensive Gladiator that can reach the full 7,700-pound tow rating when equipped with the Max Tow Package.
Willys, Texas Trail & the special editions
The Willys is the cheapest Gladiator with a factory rear locker, and it adds mud-terrain tires and rock rails, making it a real off-road tool rather than an appearance package. The Texas Trail is a tow-ready utility build on Sport bones. Among the collectibles, the 85th Anniversary Edition is a one-model-year commemorative, and the Willys '41 is a WWII heritage edition with throwback styling. These land on price between the Sport S and the Rubicon, giving buyers around Sicklerville distinctive looks without stepping up to Rubicon or Mojave money.
Sahara (new for 2026)
New for 2026, the Sahara is the comfort-focused daily driver, with available leather-trimmed and heated seats, a body-color hardtop, all-season tires, and more refined on-road manners. It is the pick for buyers who want the open-air Jeep experience but spend most of their miles on pavement.
Rubicon & Mojave (and their X versions)
The Rubicon is the rock crawler: front and rear locking differentials standard, a 4:1 low-range transfer case, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a disconnecting sway bar for wheel articulation, riding on a taller, heavier-duty setup. The Mojave is Desert Rated for high-speed sand and whoops, with Fox internal-bypass shocks and up to 11.6 inches of ground clearance, the highest of any Gladiator. The Rubicon X and Mojave X are the fully loaded versions of each platform, bundling the safety, technology, and convenience features as standard. Shadow Ops is a blacked-out, Rubicon-based appearance edition.

2026 Gladiator Trim FAQs
How many trims does the 2026 Jeep Gladiator come in?
The 2026 Gladiator is offered in roughly a dozen trims, from the Sport to the fully loaded Mojave X, spanning three platforms: Sport-based value and comfort trims, the rock-crawling Rubicon, and the desert-running Mojave, plus loaded X versions and heritage editions. Every trim uses the same 3.6L V6 and eight-speed automatic.

What is new for the 2026 Gladiator lineup?
For 2026, Jeep added the comfort-focused Sahara trim, along with the Willys '41 heritage edition and the blacked-out Shadow Ops. The door hinges were revised for quicker door removal, and the lineup is now eight-speed automatic only, as the manual transmission was discontinued.
Which Gladiator trim has the most ground clearance?
The Mojave has up to 11.6 inches of ground clearance, the highest of any Gladiator, thanks to its desert-tuned suspension and Fox shocks. Sport trims run about 10 inches.
